C-RAD AB with its three fully owned subsidiaries are all active in the field of radiation therapy. The company attended and exhibited at the annual physicist meeting AAPM in Philadelphia, USA, 18-21 July. The GEMini and Sentinel systems were presented in the C-RAD booth. The Sentinel system was also exhibited in the Elekta booth with the robotic couch Hexapod Evo. The annual physicist meeting AAPM in the US is one of the major events in radiation therapy. The main focus for C-RAD this year was to introduce new software functionality for respiratory gating and to present the GEMini ED system. Both systems are FDA- pending. The meeting was a success. Compared to last year´s meeting number of leads doubled. Both the ROS representative and the new C-RAD sales manager in the US were busy in demonstrating the unique features of the Sentinel system. New orders for the Sentinel system were signed. This important meeting is also offering an opportunity to meet partners and representatives. Both technical and commercial discussions took place to integrate the C-RAD systems with the systems of the main vendors in radiation therapy.
