IT-V are starting up sales of C-RAD systems in the German speaking countries C-RAD AB with its three fully owned subsidiaries are all active in the field of radiation therapy. C-RAD AB and the Austrian based company Innovative Technologie Völp (IT-V) has signed an agreement for distribution of the C-RAD products and systems in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The German speaking countries or the so called DACH countries is the most important region of Europe in radiation therapy. About six per cent of the radiation therapy systems in the world are installed in the DACH countries. IT-V is well established in the region and has for many years been selling immobilization equipment to the radiation therapy clinics. IT-V is working in close cooperation with the Elekta organization Erik Hedlund, CEO, C-RAD AB: "C-RAD has since 2009 been looking for a partner for distribution in the DACH countries. IT-V is well established at the radiation therapy centers in the region and with employees having been working with the C-RAD products for more than two years." Cooperation agreements have been signed with the Swedish company Elekta and the Belgian company IBA. C-RAD is represented by distributors specialized in radiation therapy on major markets. C-RAD AB is since March 2010 listed at Nasdaq Omx First North Premier.
