C-RAD’s Board of Directors has appointed Cecilia de Leeuw as new CEO from 21 December 2022. Cecilia de Leeuw succeeds Tim Thurn, who is leaving his position after almost ten years as CEO. Under Tim’s leadership C-RAD successfully transformed from a technology development company to a global leading player in efficient and safety solutions for advanced cancer radiation. With Cecilia’s extensive international experience, the company is ready to leverage into a new phase of growth with its highly competitive solutions.
During the past few years, C-RAD has commercialized the business with a clear and long-term mission. C-RAD should be the preferred partner to ensure safety and efficiency in advanced cancer radiation and thereby contribute to curing more cancer patients and improving their quality of life. From a financial perspective, 2021 was a record year for all key ratios – order intake, revenue, and operating profit. In line with this, C-RAD's business and strategy are being developed. The company is entering a new phase with a new leadership.
Cecilia de Leeuw is 54 years old and has extensive international experience from leadership, commercialization and leading organizational development. She has a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University and started her career at Ericsson in 1995. As Vice President Cecilia has had several executive roles both internationally and in Sweden between 1995-2017. She most recently come from Tietoevry Transform as Vice President and Head of Industry Telecom and Consumer. In addition, she has been a board member of Kambi since 2019 and Net Insight AB since 2022

The board has agreed with Tim Thurn that he will remain as CEO until 21 December 2022. Tim will thereafter receive severance pay corresponding to salary pay for nine months.
