A broad presence of C-RAD systems at the annual oncology meeting ASTRO in San Diego, USA. C-RAD AB with its three fully owned subsidiaries are all active in the field of radiation therapy. The company attended and exhibited at the 2010 ASTRO from October 31st to November 3rd in San Diego, USA. C-RAD presented new functionality with the Sentinel scanning system and the GEMini ED detector system. The ASTRO congress in the US is by far the largest annual event in radiation therapy. Visitors from North America are of course dominant, however a large number of oncologists and physicists are also coming from Europe, Asia, and the rest of the world. It is a great opportunity to present new developments to customers and to meet with distributors and partners in the industry. At this year´s ASTRO C-RAD in its own booth presented new functionality for respiratory gating with the Sentinel system, and the GEMini ED technology. The Sentinel system was also presented and demonstrated in the Elekta and the Acceletronics booths. Finally, in the booth of Radiation Oncology Systems a video of a clinical installation of the Sentinel system was running.
