Implementing SGRT for Breast Radiotherapy Treatment
Adam Selby, Clinical Scientist at South West Wales Cancer Center at Singleton Hospital in Swansea, Wales, shares his experiences with surface guided radiation therapy (SGRT) in breast cancer treatments, including Sentinel in the CT room and Catalyst+ HD in the treatment room. Clinical users will see how SGRT helps create a more efficient workflow, ensures more precise radiation delivery, and paves the way to tattooless treatments.
Adam explains his clinic’s workflow and how it uses optical surface scanning to guide deep inspiration breath hold (DIBH). He also speaks about the importance of patient education, as patients are actively involved in their treatment.
